Work is well underway on our summer production of The Gondoliers, and everyone will get a few opportunities to see and hear our splendid cast before opening curtain on July 12!
First up, on Sunday May 19, Seattle G&S will be serenading the people of Montlake at the Montlake Community Center. The event runs from 2pm to 5pm, and we will be making our appearance a little before 4pm. Further details on the event can be found at montlake.net.
Then, on Monday, May 27th, we will be putting on a second preview at Northwest Folklife. Stop by the Intiman courtyard in Seattle Center around 2:30 to get a second taste at Gondoliering! Check out our event page at NW Folklife’s website.
Finally, don’t miss out on the chance to catch myself and the rest of the Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan gang at the 5th Avenue’s spotlight night on May 29! The folks at the 5th will be putting on a free preview of their upcoming production of The Pirates of Penzance, and we will help them by showing off a few numbers of our own. It will be quite a celebration!
